Thom's Mini Review: Perhaps the best fast 35mm prime for FX cameras yet. Well made, performs well (though a bit soft in the corners wide open), and certainly a bargain compared to the Nikkor 35mm f/1.4. Personally I'm not a big fan of this focal length, but if you need a fast 35mm for FX bodies, this is probably the choice. DX users should stick to the Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G, though, as it's quite good and a true bargain for the crop format users. Recommended
