Thom's Mini Review: A paradoxic lens. It performed well in the film days, poorly in the DX digital days, but seems to perform decently on the lower resolution FX DSLRs (e.g. not the D8xx models). Many of the wide angle zoom lenses clearly outperform it on the high resolution DSLRs, though, so you really only want this is you're looking for a small lens.
