Sigma today announced the latest in their Art series of lenses, a 24mm f/1.4 prime. Sigma claims this lens will be up to the “exacting standards” of the previous 35mm and 50mm f/1.4 Art lenses, which would be welcome news to Nikon users looking for a less expensive but still optically excellent alternative to the Nikkor series.
Price and availability aren’t yet known, though some retailers are taking preorders for it already.
